The Uganda Law Society Announces New Appointments to Council.
The Uganda Law Society, led by the Radical New Bar, announces the appointment of Advocate Ssali Babu as Acting Secretary and Advocate Lule Alexander as Acting Council Member, effective immediately.
These appointments are made pursuant to Regulations 15(1)(b) and 15(1)(c) of the Uganda Law Society Election Regulations, SI No. 10 of 2016. The appointments follow a resolution by the ULS General Meeting to censure and remove the former post holders.
Advocate Ssali Babu brings extensive experience as a conveyancing and litigation specialist. Advocate Lule Alexander is a respected human rights defender and litigation specialist.
