Celebrating Pres. Museveni’s Achievements: What you need to know about the Grand Event set for 5th July at Kololo

On July 5th, a monumental celebration will take place at Kololo Independence Grounds to honor the enduring legacy and achievements of President Yoweri Museveni. The event, expected to draw over 200,000 people, promises to be a day filled with joy, unity, and gratitude for Museveni’s contributions to Uganda.

An Event Powered by the People

Remarkably, this grand celebration is not sponsored by the government nor the NRM. Instead, it is organized and funded by individuals who hold Museveni in high regard. Their collective efforts have made it possible to host such a large-scale event, demonstrating the profound impact Museveni has had on the country called Uganda.
Activities and Amenities

Free Medical Camp: One of the event’s highlights is a free medical camp. Attendees will have access to a range of medical services, including general check-ups, dental care, eye exams, among others. This initiative underscores Museveni’s commitment to improving healthcare accessibility for all Ugandans.

Food and Drinks: No celebration is complete without food and drinks, and this event will be no exception. Attendees can enjoy a variety of local delicacies and beverages, all provided free of charge. This gesture of hospitality reflects the spirit of community and togetherness that Museveni has championed throughout his tenure.

Early Gates Opening: To accommodate the large number of attendees, gates will open at 6 a.m. This early start allows for a full day of festivities, ensuring everyone has ample time to participate in the various activities and enjoy the celebration.

The event will be attended by Government officials (Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Presidential Advisors, MPs, District Leaders z councilors etc), Religious leaders, Cultural leaders and the general public.

Line up of artists to entertain people: An energetic line up of musicians has been prepared to entertain the people and the Chief celebrant with powerful performances.

** A Day of Unity and Celebration**

The event at Kololo is more than just a celebration of one man’s legacy; it is a reflection of the unity and resilience of the Ugandan people. It is an opportunity for supporters to come together, celebrate their achievements, and look forward to a future of continued growth and prosperity.

As the sun rises over Kololo on July 5th, the grounds will come alive with the sounds of music, laughter, and heartfelt tributes to a leader who has left an indelible mark on Uganda.
