Desist from hatred and envy, Nebbi District staff urged

The Deputy Cardi of Nebbi Muslim District Mustapha Muzamir has urged the Staff of Nebbi District local government to desist from envy and hatred at their workplace.

The Cardi who was presiding over thanksgiving prayers for the end of this year at Nebbi District headquarters, emphasised that “staff should differentiate between politics and hatred” whilst focusing on peace and unity for the development of Nebbi.

The Cardi also advised staff against rampant witchcraft practices at the workplace.

Meanwhile, The Chief Administrative Officer of Nebbi Dorothi Ajwang has called upon staff “to spiritually renew their hearts ahead of the new year”  leaving hatred behind.

Staff of Nebbi District local government receive certificates of appreciation at the thanks giving prayers.

Nebbi District Local Government awarded certificates of appreciation to administrative units like Erussi Sub-county, Achana, and Nebbi General Hospital amongst others for their outstanding performances in effective revenue collection, good services etc.

The Woman MP of Nebbi Agnes Acibu and Nebbi Municipality MP Hashim Sulaiman both stress the need for “hope and unity amongst staff in execution of their duties”.This according to the members of Parliament will foster the development of the Nebbi District.

This year, one of the staff of Nebbi General Hospital was in the news for reportedly diverting drugs meant for the hospital to his clinic.

Amongst some of the remarkable progress made by the District was the commencement of work on the sorry state of the Road that cut across three Sub-counties of Erussi, Atego and Dhew.

The LCV chairperson of Nebbi Emmanuel Orombi who called for forgiveness amongst staff noted some remarkable progress made this year, and assured that “some offices shall remain open for the smooth flow of service delivery in the festive season”.

Thanksgiving prayers for the end of the year are done on a rotational basis in the District.
