The section of members of the ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Mpigi attacked former Minister Ameria Kyambadde over allegations trending in the district that she will not contest for the Mawokota North MP seat in 2026.
Furious Members asked Ameria Kyambadde to contest for the seat claiming that they’re missing her services in the district, and they have one ready to replace her in the district.
“Hon we want you on the ballot, we’re hearing rumors that you’re not coming back. Please don’t leave us we stood for you in 2010, blease stand for us in 2026,” says an NRM supporter.
“I guess it’s rumors, We want you in the race,” an other supporter said.
Ameria did not committee her self on the 2026 political journey but she took time to listen to thier claims as she accompanied them enjoying the day moving around the while dancing as they were waiting for the prime minister Rt. Hon. Robina Nabbanjja at Buwama.
According to our reliable source, a number of NRM members are flocking Ameria’s Kyenasanjja home requesting her to hold the party flag in 2026 as Mawokota North MP.
