The National Unity Platform (NUP) principal leader Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert also known as Bobi Wine on Thursday 7 held a massive rally in Lira which shocked the first son Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. #WhisperEyeNews
Mr. Wine had massive rallies embraced by mammoth crowds in the Western region and Eastern regions which left many political analysts who had written off the Pop music star to revise their notes.
The enormous Lira rally not only shocked opposition anti-Bobi Wine politicians, but even the first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to the nerves. Muhoozi has a dream to rule Uganda following in the footsteps of his father Mr Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni who has ruled Uganda since 1986.
While in Lira, Mr. Kyagulanyi requested the people of Lango to play a cardinal role in removing President Museveni from power.
“We’re not here to campaign for votes, were here to remind you that we must remove Museveni from power,” says Mr Wine.
“We have come here to wake up, we have come here to remind you that you must play your role. And the people of Lango you must play a big role in removing President Museveni from Power,” he stated.
The former presidential candidate Mr. Kyagulanyi also addressed his supporters in the Lango Sub region on Voice of LANGO 88.0 FM.
A source close to Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba told Whisper Eye News, that he was following closely whatever transpired in Lira.
He was surprised by the numbers Bobi Wine had in northern Uganda, specifically in Lira where the UPC party is dominant followed by the NRM party.
