Kampala property developer Ssemakula Ismael Ssajja popularly known as Sema has handed over a building worthy of Ugx 100m to Kabungo Church of Uganda Primary School in Kalungu district at a function graced by West Buganda Diocese bishop the Rt. Rev. Henry Katumba Tamale.

In his sermon, Bishop Tamale asked parents to focus much on the education of their children, religion and discipline for the betterment of their future.

His grave bishop Tamale appreciated Rev. Wasswa Christopher Kafeero of Kabungo for the great work he has accomplished in the short period of time he has spent in Kalungu.

Mr Ssemakula a.k.a Sema vowed to restore the lost glory of Kalungu through various development projects mainly in Health, Education and sports, and agriculture.

This is the second building constructed by Mr Ssemakula, in addition to a two-classroom block at Kiwaawo Primary School recently.

“Kalungu district is well known for prominent and hardworking people, including former prime minister of Uganda Kintu Musoke, Joash Ssibakyalyawo Mayanja Nkangi (deceased) who was a former Katikkiro of Buganda, minister of justice and constitution affairs, and minister of finance among various capacities, Kampala Lord Mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago, and so many prominent Ugandans. Thus we must be known for better schools, hospitals, industries and better standards of living,” says Mr Ssemakula.

“Moving in the footsteps of many prominent people from Kalungu those who have made thier contribution to our district, it’s my turn to make some contribution,” he added.

Residents of Kalungu applauded Mr Ssemakula for his efforts towards the completion of the building and other projects he is sponsoring in the community.
