Nebbi teacher killed , body dumped in a valley

The community of Erusi Sub-county in Nebbi District were left shocked after the body of a teacher who was reportedly murdered by unknown assailants, was found dumped in Oliri stream in Pulaka village, Padolo parish.

Acayo Gloria Miriam, a Langi by tribe believed to be in her 30s,  was a  teacher at Jocquine Pedro Nursery and primary school in Payera Parish. She was a resident of Pulaka village Padolo Parish Erusi Sub_ county.

The two children of the Deceased told local leaders that their mother yesterday prepared meals in the evening and moved in the night leaving her phone with them.

The LC1  chairperson of Pulaka village,  Padolo parish where the deceased was residing  Mr Paul Obedgiu said ” Her body was discovered by women who went to draw water in the stream, she was a teacher and a Langi by tribe, her mother is also a teacher, her head was covered with a cap and it took us long to recognize her. The bad thing is that her body has tortured Marks”.

Local leaders told the Whisper Eye News that the torture marks found on her body are giving firm leads that she might have been killed by her some bad-hearted people.

The  LC3 chairperson of Erusi subcounty Colins Orom Jalacida said the ” news is shocking to locals at the border Sub_county “.He believes Police inquiry will uncover the cause of her mysterious death.

By press time, Nebbi Police were yet to visit the crime scene.

This come just hours after the body of a Congolese national was retrieved from River Nyarwodhu at the Uganda_DR Congo border near Goli Border Custom in Jupangira Sub-county Nebbi district. 

Relatedly, A woman was reportedly Murdered in Nebbi Municipality last week by unknown assailants but arrests of more than four people have been made to aid in the inquest.
