2021 Race: Tycoon Katumwa David joins politics, Eyes Nansana Municipality MP seat. Whisper Eye Reports
Kampala based sports business man David Katumwa has declared his interest to contest for Nansana municipality MP race come 2021.
Nansana Municipality is represented by National Resistance Movement (NRM) royal member hon. Robert Kasule Ssebunya who entered Parliament after Mr Wakayima Musoke lost an election petition with a controversial Justice Kavuma ruling.
Whisper Eye News has established that Business Man Katumwa has joined the race.
Now, NRM’s Kasule Ssebunya, DP’s Enock Musoke who also claims to be member of the new Bobi Wine party NUP, and popular Wakayima Musoke are contesting for the same seat.
David Katumwa is the owner of Katumwa Sports Centre, one of the biggest sports shops in Kampala.
He also owns part of an international sports company called Cobra.
He is the majority share holder in the company with 51 percent shares.
