East Africa’s music champion Joseph Mayanja popularly known by his stage name Jose Chameleone set a record in the just concluded digital Nyege Nyege festival.
This year’s digital Nyege Nyege festival, the 2020 edition started on December 3 to 6, 2020.
Nyege Nyege organisers kept their promise to have the biggest pan African music and art showcase ever put together into epic virtual production made for television and online consumption.
Mr Mayanja who is campaigning to unseat Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) flag bearer on the post of Kampala Lord Mayorship was a surprise to perform at the Nyege Nyege festival.
According to reports Music fans praised the vigorous performance of singer Jose Chameleone, thus praising Nyege Nyege organisers for not disappointing them.
“We are back with four days and four nights of pure entertainment, combining a series of COVID-19 safe activities around Kampala with a custom digital experience curated by artists from 27 participating countries.
Jose Chameleone had an extraordinary performance, I can say that the performance from all our artist was great!,” said Derek Debru, a co-founder of Nyege Nyege.
