Just In: Bobi Wine heads to Museveni’s Mecca as reports of daytime curfew being imposed. Whisper Eye Reports
The National Unity Platform presidential candidate Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu is on his way to Nakasongola, Luweero and Nakaseke.
Reports have emerged that a day time curfew has been imposed on the people of Luweero, Nakasongola and Nakaseke .
According to Bobi Wine the military is beating people forcing them to close their shops and houses and ordering them to remain indoors.
Our efforts to contact the UPDF leadership over the claims that it’s officers are enforcing a day time curfew was futile as we work upon around the clock to get their comment.
Our reporter in Luweero says there is presence of military in every town from Wobulenzi to Luweero town.
Luweero is among the districts with large numbers of Bobi Wine supporters, and when Bobi Wine was arrested the area joined in protests which saw rioters burn Wobulenzi Magistrate court, three cars and destroying large property.
