The office of the National Resistance Movement Chairman Kyambogo has launched door to door campaigns for president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

The Kyambogo based office through the personal assistant to the National NRM Chairman Mrs. Babirye Milly Babalanda has today launched the “securing the future” door to door campaigns as a strategy to canvas votes for president Museveni who is the NRM Chairman.

Securing the Future, Mrs Babirye Milly Babalanda has emphasised that a group of NRM volunteers will be mobilizing support for YK Museveni through door to door in areas of residence , place of work and educational institutions in every part of the country.

Eng Sewaava Mukasa of the communication office of Ms Babirye Milly Bablanda called upon every body to mobilise support for president Museveni in the 2021 elections.

Museveni is the only presidential candidate who can secure the future of Ugandans for seniority and stability. Eng Sewaava said.

The NRM presidential flag bearer, President Yoweri Museveni said Uganda’s youths must ideologically be oriented to enjoy their youthfulness.

“When we talk about youths these days, I hear people just concentrating on biology. These days only talk about youth for age and years(they have). It is very dangerous. For a youth to be useful to himself and country, he or she must be biologically, spiritually, morally, educationally and even technically upright,” Museveni wondered.

The NRM presidential candidate said that at independence, all the leaders were youths but failed to steer the country and finally plunged it into chaos.

“At independence all leaders were youths. Obote was 35, Kakonge was 26, Ibingira and Nekyon were 28. Even Iddi Amin was 39. All these people were young but they failed because they were not prepared. That’s what I don’t want youths especially in the NRM to do.” he added.

Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is campaigning to extend his term in office as the president of Uganda from 2021 to 2026.

He faces 10 challenges that include Kyadondo East MP Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu , Gen Mugisha Muntu , Gen Tumukunde among others.
