Former URA captain handed an administrative job after hanging his boots.

Allan Munaaba who served as captain of URA fc for 3 seasons has been appointed as the Finance and administration officer of the team.

Munaaba who played mostly as al left back retired from the beautiful game last season after a one season spell with boyhood club BUL FC following his departure from URA fc.

A statement released on the Club’s official website described Munaaba as a committed servant whose selflessness and positive attitude couldn’t go unappreciated.

Munaaba joined URA in 2007 from SC Villa, Munaaba winning 3 Uganda premier league titles, 2 Uganda cups and 1 Tusker challenge cup.

Munaaba is a graduate with a Bachelors degree in Business administration something that convinced his bosses that he can actually do the job. He joins other former players currently employed by the club like Philip Obwiny, David Kalungi and Simeon Masaba.
