Mr Bidandi Ssali said that it is not possible for popular Pop Music star Bobi Wine to replace president Yoweri KagutaMuseveni at the moment.

It has surprised the country for a former presidential aspirant to dismiss the possibility of MP Kyagulanyi to replace Mr Museveni despite his popularity.

“Bobi Wine to be the president of Uganda, ha ha ha …it’s one of the jokes you can talk about,’ says Mzee Bidandi Ssali.

“I haven’t seen any opposition leader who can defeat Mr Museveni. He can not accept a defeat, he added.”

Hon Kyagulanyi declared to contest with president Museveni after forming his popular platform: People Power, Our Power Movement.

“My son, don’t get annoyed what I’m saying its the bitter truth. Museveni can not give power to anybody, Mr Bidandi said.”

At the time of Uganda’s Independence in 1962, Bidandi Ssali was a mobilizer for the Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) led by Apollo Milton Obote, Uganda’s first Prime Minister.

During the regime of Idi Amin Dada, he turned his focus to football, coaching Kampala Capital City (KCC) Football club, currently called Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC from 1974 until 1979.

For a period of about 60 days in 1978, Bidandi was the team coach for the Uganda National Team, The Cranes, the year they made it to the African Cup of Nations finals against Ghana.

He is the father of popular singer Ssali Moses known by his stage name Bebe Cool, a renown supporter of president Museveni.

For the very first time, singer Big Size Bebe Cool’s dad Jaberi Bidandi Ssali, has watered down Bobi Wine’s dreams of toppling Sevo in 2021.

Bobi declared how he will be vying for the top office but Bidandi Ssali thinks the current Kyadondo East constituency MP is still day dreaming.
