Kampala Lord Mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago has given his Deputy hajat Sarah Kanyike an ultimatum of three days to reject president Museveni appointment for a juicy job at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

President Yower Kaguta Museveni appointed hajat Sarah Kanyike as the new director at KCCA for Gender, community service, and production.

The act Lord mayor Lukwago referred to as undermining his office by the president.

“I’m not aware about the new appointments by president Museveni, to make matters worse I have seen on social media that even my Deputy hajat Sarah Kanyike is among the new Directors,’ says Lord Mayor Lukwago.

” I have tried to reach hajat Sarah but I have not talk to her, hope to talk to her very soon,’ he added.

Mr Lukwago asked he Deputy to reject the job, arguing that it is below her office of the Lord Mayorship.

“I advise my Deputy not to accept the job, she has the right to tell president Museveni, not able to serve, Mr Lukwago said.”

“I have given hajat Sarah Kanyike three days to come out and take a decision over the new appointment, he added.”

President Museveni appointed four other directors; Ms Kasaka Dorothy as the Executive Director (ED) replacing Eng Kitaka Andrew Mubiru, Eng David Luyimbazi Ssali as the Deputy ED, Dr Okello Ayen David Director Public health and Environment and Ms Grace Akullo Director, Human Resource and Administration.
