Kasese Floods: FDC starts fundraising campaign to support land slides victims. Whisper Eye Reports.

Forum for Democratic Change Party (FDC) has started fundraising for Kasese floods and land slides victims to save lives . Whisper Eye has learnt.

The initiative is powered by the People’s government headed by Rt Col Dr Kiiza Besigye and the office of the leader of opposition.

FDC official has told Whisper Eye that they have termed the drive ‘Rwenzori Sub region support drive to the floods and land slides victims May, 2020’ under the them, “Restoring Hope and Lives”.

Just early this month Kaseese was hit hard by massive floods after rivers Nyamwamba, Mubuku and Nyamugasani burst thier banks, destroying hospital, houses and property worth millions and millions of money.

Last week Kasese was hit again by land slides killing about six people and destroyed property.

Many people were left homeless and no food.

President Museveni visited the area and promised a lasting solution to the effect.
