Aspiring candidates in Kampala are puzzled by the dynamite capacity of president Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni and Haji Erias Lukwago to take over all advertising billboards in Kampala city.

Whisper Eye news is reliably informed that many contestants wanted to book space on these billboards in Kampala, however the authorities told them that there are no existing space across the city.

“Lord Mayor Lukwago booked many billboards and the rest have been booked by Mr Museveni,” says the source.

The available option for any candidate to have a billboard in Kampala city is to buy the space of the existing company advertising and buys it off expensively.

Secondary, booking billboards in Wakiso near Kampala city which are free in towns like, Kyengera, Bulenga, Nansana, Kireka, Zzana among others.

It should be remembered that the Electoral Commission (EC) banned public political rallies and declared a ‘Scientific Election ‘, thus candidates are trying to maximise all avenues to reach out to voters, most especially those who are new in the race.

Opposition candidates have been denied access to various media house especially in up country region/.
