Hon. Ruth Katushabe Amplifies President Museveni’s Message of Socio-Economic Transformation in Kitintale and Bukomansimbi

Last week on Saturday, Hon. Ruth Katushabe, the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and Translations, made impactful visits to two communities in Uganda, encouraging unity, transparency, and economic growth.

Hon. Katushabe joined the believers of Winners Mission Church Kitintale for a thanksgiving mass, urging the congregation to remain God-fearing and actively participate in the ongoing war against poverty spearheaded by President Museveni. The church is led by Bishop Livingston Kayumba, who also serves as the leader of all pastors in Nakawa Division. Other key leaders of the Born-Again community in Kampala were present at the mass, reflecting the significance of this gathering. The event also saw the presence of Nakawa East MP, Hon. Ronald Balimwezo, who joined in the prayers and community engagement.

After the thanksgiving mass, Hon. Katushabe proceeded to Ganda village, Bigasa Sub-county in Bukomansimbi District, where she addressed residents at the annual General Meeting of their SACCO. Hon. Katushabe pledged unwavering support towards the projects undertaken by the SACCO, reinforcing the government’s focus on grassroots socio-economic transformation. She emphasized the importance of unity and transparency among members to sustain the progress of their initiatives.

Commending the residents of Bukomansimbi for their dedication to coffee farming, she highlighted its role in transforming livelihoods. Hon. Katushabe also reassured the community that she was actively pushing for the extension of electricity to villages lacking access, an effort she had been committed to in the past.

In both communities, Hon. Katushabe’s message was clear: Godliness, unity, and embracing President Museveni’s vision for socio-economic transformation are key to defeating poverty and achieving national prosperity.
