This will be the second time Gen Muhoozi will be landing in Nairobi to meet the Kenyan leader in a period of fewer than 6 months.
Using his official Twitter handle, Gen Muhoozi said that immediately after the meeting, he will hold a big party to celebrate the unity between the two countries. However, some inner members of Team MK have revealed to this media that it will be an extension of his numerous birthday celebrations that have been going on in the country.
“To all my thousands of Kenyan followers and relatives, I shall be in my second homeland next week to meet my big brother. After that, we need to have a big party to celebrate the unity between Kenya and Uganda! Waiting for ideas.” Muhoozi tweeted
Opposition politicians, on the other hand, have expressed dissatisfaction with how the First son is behaving yet he is a serving military officer.
Dr. Kizza Besigye said that Gen Muhoozi is enjoying the criminality of the state adding that first of all he joined the military illegally and whatever he does is illegal including the statements he always makes on Twitter.
Mr. Kyagulanyi Robert Bobi Wine the National Unity Platform leader said that he has never on earth seen an incompetent General like Muhoozi adding that he was hurriedly promoted and doesn’t even deserve to be a Lance Corporal in the army.
Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu the Alliance for National Transformation-Uganda leader said that Muhoozi needs to respect the army and thus should tell his father to retire him and then after engages in politics as he wishes. Muntu said the army was built on blood and sacrifices and thus it needs to be respected by the serving officers.
