Fountainhead Institute of Management Lira Offers Full Scholarships to West Nile Students

LIRA: In a transformative move to make higher education accessible, Fountainhead Institute of Management and Technology in Lira has announced full scholarships and bursaries for the 2025/2026 academic year, specifically targeting ambitious students from West Nile and across Uganda. 

This initiative aims to empower talented individuals to pursue professional courses in engineering, agriculture, and business without the burden of financial constraints.

Addressing Rising Education Costs

With the escalating costs of education, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, many students face barriers to accessing quality training.

 Fountainhead Institute, a fully accredited institution by the Government of Uganda, steps in  to bridge this gap by offering comprehensive financial support to deserving candidates.

 The institute is renowned for its role in fostering innovative professionals who contribute to regional and national development.

Scholarship Details and Application Process

The Office of the Academic Registrar at Fountainhead has opened applications for full scholarships and bursaries for programs commencing between May 26 and June 13, 2025.

 These opportunities are designed to support students pursuing national diplomas and certificates in fields such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Water Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Crop Production and Management, Accounting and Finance, Records and Information Management, Fashion and Garment Design, Information and Communication Technology, Public Administration, and Business Administration.

Eligibility Criteria  

Diploma Programs: Applicants must hold a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least one principal pass and two subsidiary passes, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.  

National Certificate Programs: Candidates need a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least three passes, or an equivalent qualification.  

Obligations: Successful applicants will contribute a non-refundable fee of UGX 150,000 per semester toward educational costs and a one-time admission fee of UGX 52,000, payable to Housing Finance Bank (Account No. 1120018037142).
