Muheesi Abaho Jenipher has defeated the state minister for economic monitoring in the office of the president Molly Nawe Kamukama and has been declared the winner of the highly competed Kazo NRM district woman MP seat.

National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission (EC) chairman Dr Tanga Odoi has officially announced the results after one week due to controversies emerged after the elections.

According to the official declaration form Ms Muheesi Abaho Jenipher scored 16802 votes and Minister Molly Nawe Kamukama scored 16715 votes.

Molly Nawe Kamukama was born on 23 August 1973.

She is a Ugandan politician and management professional, who serves as the State Minister for Economic Monitoring in the Office of the President, in the Cabinet of Uganda, effective 14 December 2019.
