Unpleasant news from Kibale East county indicates that Minister Tumwebaze Frank Kagyigyi’s serious competitor in Kibale East parliamentary race Mr Asiimwe Crispas also popularly known as Mugisha has been poisoned.

Mr Asiimwe is a resident of Kaalo-Kalungi in Biguli Sub County, Kamwenge district in Toro Sub region.

A reliable source has told Whisper Eye that Mr Asiimwe is hospitalised after food poison that is believed, he consumed it on Wednesday last week.

Mr Asiimwe started feeling sick on Friday morning, and in the afternoon started vomiting and body temperature started rising up which forced his relatives to rush him to the hospital.

After diagnosis was done, it was found out that it was poison and admitted for treatment.

Whisper Eye has been reliably informed that Mr Asiimwe bought a huge land some years ago at Kaalo-Kalungi in Biguli and constructed a magnificent house and a farm.

Residents of the area like him and proposed his name on the list of MP candidates asking him to take on Frank Minister Tumwebaze Frank.

They named him “Omugisha gwa Kibale East” meaning the blessings of Kibale East constituency.

A source close to Mr Asiimwe told Whisper Eye that he was rushed to Kampala in yet identified hospital in fear of those who poisoned him to influence medical officers treating him.
