Court orders Nubian li to vacate house he fraudulently bought in 2011

Bobi Wine’s best friend Ali Bukeni aka Nubian Li is having sleepless nights after court ordered him to vacate his house in Kulambiro, Kyanja – Nakawa district which he bought from a one Kayondo Moses in 2011 and moved in with his family but allegedly connived with the man to forge the signature of the wife Mrs Rose Kayondo who also had rights over the house.

According to Kayondo Rose, the wife to Kayondo Moses, the husband sold their plot with a house without her consent and forged her signature.

She says she was the major contributor when they were purchasing that plot in 1998. She revealed that she raised the money through laying bricks in Kyebando.

After discovering that her husband had sold their house without her knowledge, she dragged Nubian Li to court. Since 2011, Rose and Nubian have been battling until 2018 when the court ruled that Nubian bought the land illegally and that he should vacate the house.

However since then, Nubian Li has refused to vacate the house over yet to be known reasons.

On top of ignoring the court orders , he has since demolished part of the house and constructed a flat.

As of Wednesday, court once again ordered Nubian Li to vacate immediately and compensate Rose 26m in damages according to her lawyer.

However rose Kayondo says she is willing to sell the house to Nubian Li but at 400m shillings.
