Cement truck crashes tourist car beyond recognition in Katonga, 3 Dead. Whisper Eye Reports

A Cement Truck registration number UBB 170D of Moses HK Hardware that was travelling from Masaka to Kampala crashed a tourists vehicle Land Cruiser Reg. No. UAJ 036A heading to Masaka from Kampala.

Three people died on spot and four people rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

The three killed on spot are the driver of Land Cruiser Yusuf Walimbwa, Gilbert Kemei, and Summy Kipock, their bodies have been taken to Mpigi Health Center IV mortuary.

Terrible accident occurred at Mugge village near Katonga river along Kampala-Masaka high way.

An Eye Witness told Whisper Eye News that the tourists’ vehicle Land Cruiser was overtaking at a terrible speed, unfortunately it found a cement truck at neck break speed thus colliding head to head.

“The Accident was caused by reckless driving and over speeding,” says Afande Anatolius Kaahwa OC Kayabwe police station.
