Uganda’s opposition veterans led by Mukono Municipality MP Hon Betty Nambooze , have distanced themselves from Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago by shunning to join Forum for Democratic Change party.


Today Erias Lukwago was welcomed as a member of FDC at the party headquarters in Najjanakumbi amidst jubilations from the party faithful.

Erias Lukwago who was accompanied by his wife thanked the FDC leadership for welcoming him .

Despite earlier media claims that Erias Lukwago will join FDC with some of his clique which is compromised of MP Kasibante Moses , Mp Allan Ssewanyana and Betty Nambooze all were a no show.


Whisper Eye inquired from Mp Allan Ssewanyana whether he had ditched DP for FDC, Allan said No am DP.


FDC party president Amuriat assured Erias Lukwago that FDC is now complete with him.
