JF Well Works Africa has handed over 20 boreholes to the community of Myene sub-County

As a way of improving community health through a clean and safe water supply, JF Well Works Africa has handed over 20 boreholes to the people of the Myene sub-county. #WhisperEyeNews

JF Well Works Africa is one of the prominent development partners operating in Oyam and other districts in Northern Uganda in the improvement of clean and safe water supply.

Irene Kyelengat the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer CAO of Oyam district appreciated JF Well Works Africa for drilling 262 boreholes in Oyam district within three years saying as a district this could take them many years however, she also appealed to this organisation to continue supporting them.

Joel Ongom Okabo secretary of finance and administration of JF Well Works Africa said as an organization they have done their part calling upon sub-county and district leadership to help the community with the maintenance of these boreholes.

When handing over these boreholes to Myene sub-county leadership William Komakec the resident district commissioner of Oyam district cautioned water source committees against overcharging locals who will be using these boreholes.

Patrick Olobo the Lc3 Chairman of Myene sub County excitedly welcomed this development pledging that as the sub county, they will allocate some budget for the maintenance of these boreholes.

Simon Okello the Lc1 chairman of Canomia Ming village in Myene parish Myene sub-County Oyam district appreciated JF Well Works Africa for their commendable work done in their area pledging to take good care of their borehole.

According to a report JF Well Works Africa is still having many boreholes which are yet to be handed over to the community of Oyam district.
