Multi-million Islamic  school launched in Zombo

Muslims have launched a multi-million school project in Paidha town council Zombo district. #UgandaNews #WhisperEyeNews

The Islamic School is situated at  Salama Mosque established in the 1950s.

The school is aimed at equipping Islamic faithfuls and other members of the community with Arabic language , cultural norms and Education.

This comes at a time when Muslim leaders in the area have been advocating for the establishment of such institutions.

The primary school will start equipping learners from P1 to P7.

 Hassan Ringtho,  The speaker of the Zombo District Council and one of the top members of the Mosque said with the establishment of the institution, Islamic Propagation is guaranteed.

” The delegation of 8 sheikhs from the Kenya Republic led  by Sheik Sharif Muhammad are here to open the institution formally. The purpose is to do Dauwah called Islamic Propagation by blessing the multimillion project in our area”. Ringtho told the Whisper Eye News.

Thousands of Muslim faithfuls from different parts of West Nile filled with utmost joy and expectations,  gathered at Paidha Town Council to witness the launch of  The project that cost over Ugx  600 million.

The new school is called Madrasatil Alganahu Islamia Paidha. It has a component  Of 6 classrooms, A dormitory of 25 double deckers to accommodate 50  Pupils, Offices, 12 Standard Washrooms, lock-ups of 10 Doors to support the institution amongst others.

Many Muslim faithful have expressed happiness about the new school that for years they have been longing for.

Some years ago, The faithful saw many of their Islamic schools failing to live to the billing thus their closures.
These schools amongst others include   Abdeen Primary School in Paidha Town Council, There was an Islamic  School in Nebbi Municipality that also closed.

The Imam of Salama Mosque who is the chairman foundation body Kagwa Abduhamid Abdu Rijji,  has assured faithfuls of the coming in of ” many projects ” of such a nature in the near future.

He called upon “the Muslim faithful and other members of the public to support the project jealously “.

The construction of the new structure which is the first robust Islamic school in the area was funded by The Director of Manaruil Ajuda Mambrui from Kenya called Usladh Fadhil Muhammad Omar.

He said the possibility of bringing in sister institutions will ”  depend on effective management and utilisation of the established one.”

Sheik Ibrahim Sadahala , The Grand Imam Western who is the Organising  secretary of Kenya Lalwa council said “The facility is open to anyone regardless of religious affiliation so long as one is willing to adhere to the institution’s norms and values.”

The school construction started last year,   is expected to attract learners from different parts of West Nile subregion and Eastern DR Congo.
