An inauthentic document was authored to Mpigi District Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Mr. Moses Kanyarutokye on 25th May 2022, requesting him to meet all Kayabwe town council LC I and LC II chairpersons stoping the commercial officer from doing any official duties in Kayabwe town council and halting the development of equator.

The letter from chairpersons disowning the controversial document

Chairpersons say that they can not block development in their area, thus supporting the development of the equator line at Kayabwe.

After Mayor Kasule Zed presented the document to the Council, councilors raised concerns as to why the document purportedly to be a council document was signed by LC I and LC II chairpersons.

Whisper Eye News is reliably informed that CAO has not yet responded to the matter, and we shall keep you posted on the new developments.
