Who is Lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde who torn apart embattled Kampala MP Nsereko Muhammad

Counsel Ssemakadde made one of his based presentation against one of the best Members of Parliament in Uganda Hon Nsereko Muhamad on the show and he has received a lot of praise from mainly social media users in Uganda and abroad.

He outsmarted Hon Nsereko who was granted leave to work to prepare a private bill on the use of computers and social media.

On the show, human rights defender Ssemakadde told hon Nsereko that no one has a right to deny their right to call him (Hon Nsereko) “a fool and a dimwit” a statement that left the legislator cursing him why he accepted to appear on the show with Mr. Ssemakadde.

Who is Isaac Ssemakadde?

Isaac Ssemakadde is the founder and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Legal Brains Trust. An organization he has used to do pro bono services fighting for human rights and rule of law and constitutionalism.

Mr. Ssemakadde became more popular when he represented Dr. Stella Nyanzi in her Makerere court cases, which he won.

Lawyer Ssemakadde calls himself an anti-clockwise thinker. Saying that he doesn’t need to be understood by everybody.

His short dread hairstyle has received mixed feelings both praise and criticism from different classes of people. And many people believe that he was inspired by Malawian lawyer Dr. Chikosa Silungwe who also won a presidential election petition filed by Saulos Chilima who had finished third in the presidential election with 20%. Thus the Court ordered for fresh elections which Dr. Lazarus Chakwera won and Chilima become his vice president.

Isaac Ssemakadde was Masaka district’s best candidate in 1996’s Primary Leaving Examination at Bright Grammer primary school.

The headmaster of Bright Grammer Mr. Mulema Denis Sinsonga told Whisper Eye News that Ssekamadde is one of the best intelligent and bright students they have taught as a school in the past three decades.

He went to St Mary’s Kisubi on a Masaka Municipal Council bursary, due to his extraordinary PLE performance.

He was admitted to Makerere University on a government scholarship and was president of the university’s Law Society.

Mr. Ssemakadde started out at Bowmans (A.F Mpanga Advocates), one of the most reputable law firms in Uganda, before dedicating his full time to Legal Brains Trust, a project he co-founded while still at Law Development Centre (LDC).
